Who Is Amna Kurtic?

Amna Kurtic, BA, is an artist, musician, producer, writer, and educator. She is Bosnian born & Canada based.

A graduate of NSCAD University’s Interdisciplinary Arts program, Amna works across visual art, sound, digital media, and coding. She began producing music at thirteen using GarageBand and later developed projects under names including tutelary deity and a rotating collection of wonderfully strange internet aliases.

Her creative history also includes a teenage meme page era, which somehow became part of the artistic mythology.

Amna is also vocal in human rights advocacy and media activism.

Outside of making things, she enjoys hiking, live coding, and exploring new technologies.

She also teaches art and English, sharing her skills with others when she's not busy starting another creative project.
Amna loves her pet rabbit Moomin, and they spend every waking moment together.

No one is entirely sure what Amna is going to do next.

Including Amna.

And frankly, that is probably the best part.
